You've probably noticed that the action animation industry has lulled a bit in the US. Yeah, it's the end of the regular season, and aside from Voltron Force on Nicktoons next month, there's nothing to look forward to in the summer. Unless you're a gaming fanatic. E3 has you covered.

Or an anime fanatic. Anime Expo, AnimeNEXT, Otakon, Project A-Kon, Anime Mid-Atlantic, and many others are coming this summer.

Or a film fanatic. Way too many films are coming out. You know what? There is stuff to look forward to.

Okay, I'll keep it short. What are you guys and gals looking forward to the most? Right now, I'm feeling like Charlie Brown at the beginning of A Charlie Brown Christmas. I know I should be excited for stuff like Green Lantern, but truth be told, not really a Hal Jordan fan. Like Kyle Rayner more. And I dig John Stewart too. Hal has always been too wonderbread for me. Same thing with Captain America. I understand he's a an icon in the Marvel Universe, but I've never really connected with the character.

So, I need your help. For the 12 folks still reading the site, could you hit me up at my Twitter account (@nemalki) about what you're looking forward to and try to tell me why I should be interested in it? Not really feeling the summer, and fall can't get here fast enough to be honest. What's new in comics? What will you watch on TV this summer?

I'll check out everything I can and report my findings on this Summer of Discovery. In the meantime, I'll be writing and creating things around here.

Keep creating.
