Superman | Episode Synopsis (Season Three)

27. Assemble

Luthor's Team Infinity are now under the direction of Project Cadmus and led by the Guardian. Skyman quits in protest, steals a K-metal wristband, and takes on person whose shadow he's been following: Superman. Only Traci Thirteen will knock some sense into him.

This will be the final appearance of Skyman before the final three episodes. He's going to therapy to get his life back together as well as take time out to understand if he wants to even be a superhero in this point of his life anymore. This is also the first time the combative side of Traci Thirteen, who displays skills that surprises all that witnesses her, especially Superman himself.

This also marks the debut of a new uniform of Superman, a combination of his classic outfit (the primary colors and the cape return) and his resurrection attire (a one-piece outfit with a larger shield).

28. Symbiotic Relationship

Livewire and Parasite have been an item for a while. She makes power. He craves it. They go on a crime spree that utilizes both of their abilities. Even Superman isn't immune to their whims. Will this duo be stopped by Boss Dark Side himself?

29. Action!

Hollywood wants to make a Superman movie, shocking the hero himself. Matrix, a member of Team Infinity, is elated to find out she got a part in it as well. A series of events try to put the brakes on the film before it even starts shooting, forcing the two heroes to work together.

30. Mind Games

The world is at peace. Clark Kent is married to Lois, a father to two children, a boy named Jonathan Jorel Kent and a daughter named Lara Samantha Kent and they all live on the Kent farm with his mother. When he reads about and sees news about a hero named Superman, Clark realizes this perfect life isn't right. And who is the guy in the bowler hat?

This is the only time Mxyzptlk takes on Superman without Prankster. The power of the 5th Dimension imp is on full display for the entirety of the episode. When Superman realizes this is all a dream world, expect Big Blue to go ballistic.

31. Harbinger

A powerful being calling herself an chronicler of worlds warns that a great threat that can destroy the universe is heading this way, and Superman may not be victorious.

32. Arrival

LexCorp technicians examine Brainiac's ship and discover a portal device. A Kryptonian war criminal named Zod escapes the Phantom Zone and arrives on Earth. confronts Kal-El and challenges the hero to join him and conquer the world or die with the rest of the planet.

33. Kneel

When Superman refuses to join Zod, the two go at it within the Fortress of Solitude. The Eradicator device targets both individuals for threatening to destroy Kryptonian bloodlines.

34. Solitude

After the battle with Zod ends, Superman relocates the remnants of the Fortress of Solitude to a new location, a lost Kryptonian South American temple.

35. Speeding Bullet

Detective Sawyer is critically injured on the job. Detective Turpin is determined to get revenge on the criminal behind the attack, even if it is beyond the badge. Superman races to convince the veteran detective not to make a fatal mistake.

You see Toby and Maggie at their most intimate moments in this episode. Toby holds her hand and kisses Maggie's forehead as she recovers.

36. Revelations

Boss Dark Side reveals his true form to Intergang. Lex Luthor makes a life-altering decision that could change the status of his rivalry with Superman forever.

37. Fate

The Helmet of Fate ends up in the possession of the Silver Scarab. He goes to the only person who knows what all this magic weird stuff is all about: Traci Thirteen, who helps him out with a series of trials, much to the chagrin of Fury. Superman fights off strange winged creatures and a hairy brute named Kalibak who is stronger than he looks.

This will be the final appearances of Silver Scarab and Fury as their current incarnations. Scarab takes on the persona of Doctor Fate and Fury goes by her given name as his wife and assistant, Lyta.

38 - 39. Darkseid

Darkseid takes on the heroes of Earth and focuses most of his energies on Superman, taking the hero to Apokolips where he confronts clones of his "killer," and takes on the despotic ruler himself.
