Raven.
If you've been watching Toonami in 2005, you probably know these are the female heroes that made an impact on the block. If you're wondering why I singled Raven out, then you really didn't watch all of Toonami, now did you?
Raven had a pretty hectic year this year. On the day of her birthday, she knew that something bad was going to happen. How bad? Well, Raganok-bad, Armageddon-bad, end-of-the-world-bad. Not quite Crisis-continuity-erasing-bad, but mighty damned close. The Titans' biggest enemy, Slade (better known as Deathstroke to DC zombies like myself) has come back seemingly from the dead to send Raven a message from her demonic father Trigon:
It's time.
With the Mark of Scath on his mask, Slade was given phenominal, unearthly powers, giving the Titans a glimpse at the things to come. On the day that the world was going to end, Raven acted remarkably calm and jovial, which of course caused alarm with her teammates. Kiyo and Zatch fight as one because they are one hero, which is why I'm naming them the Best Male Hero of 2005.
